SUMMER DISPLAYS 2023 - INFORMATION
We are excited to announce that our advanced gymnasts will be taking part in two displays this summer!
PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING AND COMPLETE THE FORM BELOW:
1) The Hartley Wintney Festival is taking place on SATURDAY 10TH JUNE We will meet at Greenfields School car park (RG27 8DQ) at 12pm for the procession. Children will be required to wear a red leotard or a red or blue club t-shirt with black shorts. The theme of the carnival is kings and queens given the coronation, so we will be giving each child a white crown to decorate in red / white and blue a week or so beforehand. There will be a prize for the best crown:) They will be required to wear their crowns in the procession, so kirby grips may be required to secure them on their heads as we'll be cartwheeling along the streets again (also bring gloves!)
Parents are welcome to join the procession too but if you'd rather leave your child with us to watch them go past, that is fine too. We'll have a clipboard and pen to document the children in our care. Please ensure you complete the form on the day so we know who to keep an eye on. (For those parents joining the procession, we may allocate a small group of children to supervise, please indicate on the form below if you'd be happy to do this.) If there are siblings in the other groups who want to join in too, please bring them along.
There will be no gymnastics class on this day for our Saturday advanced class - we can accommodate those not wishing to take part in the festival in another class earlier on in the day if necessary. We do hope that your child would like to take part...it really is a lot of fun! (Sunday classes will run as normal but they may be cartwheeled out!)
We have also been invited to perform at Bentley Village Fete on SATURDAY 15TH JULY. We haven't yet had confirmation of the time of this so I will let you know as soon as possible. It'll be late afternoon, so they'll be able to attend their class as usual.
